... I'm pregnant, it's my first-very-desired pregnancy... but I have been feeling lousy. Eveybody says it's Ok, the hormones, and so on. My mother says that the fatigue will pass by the time kids are out of home (granted that they don't come back). More optimistic reports say that I'll feel much better by the end of third month. I'm through my 11th week and keeping my fingers crossed. It has also being a crazy time at work. I guess this hasn't help either. So I have actually been out of the net... yes this is possible, but only in work-sleep-feed mode. I have tons of mails unanswered... and yes a quilt to assemble. I have two days off next week so I have to try to sew a good pile of them. If you have send me a block and you want to know if I have received it the easiest way is to check http://www.flickr.com/groups/tsunamiquilt/. If your picture is posted there and you haven't posted it... it has arrived!!! If you have posted the picture by yourself you should have an standard comment made by iemoto ( my screen name in flickr) saying that ... it has arrived!!! Other way post a comment here or email ( slow answers...sorry) and we will try to sort out what has happened.
Thanks to everybody that has sent congratulations and good wishes (slowly replying again) I hope that everything turns well and that in six months I will be able to show off my baby.
congratulations! i am so happy for you. i kept watching your blog and missed your writing, but now i understand. yes, you will be dizzy, you will feel strangely exausted and unexpectedly energetic, you will be very very tired and mostly, very, very happy! best wishes.

Just take good care of yourself. Everything to do with the tsunami quilt will get itself finished in due course. We would love to see pictures and get updates as and when there is anything to show!

Bienvenida de vuelta, Marta, y enhorabuena. Me alegro de que tu ausencia se debiera a una noticia tan buena, porque me tenías muy preocupada. Cuanto tengas más tiempo, pégame un toque. Un abrazo, Urraca

Congratulations! I hope you're feeling a little better now :o) Just take care of yourself, relax and enjoy your pregnancy, even the lousy moments. Soon you'll be feeling great!
PS: PLEASE Don't worry about the quilt, it will get finished! (Do you have any quilting friends in Spain who could maybe help you?)

Hello Martha
I have been away and only now I have returned home.
First I want to give you my congratulations for your baby, and hope you feel wonderful.
Also I would like to know if you received my piece for the tsunami quilt. I sent it from Portugal in the 13th of february and I do not know if you have it because I did not see it in the pictures. I am very sad if you do not have it because it did mean a lot to me. Please tell me something when you can, if you will be so kind.
Best regards
Teresa Gonçalves

Congratulations! I know exactly how you feel. My baby is nine months now, but I was so exhausted through the first part of my pregnancy. They say that is a good sign--it means your body is working hard on building the baby. It cut weigh down on my quilt productivity though!

I think it would be a very good idea if someone added to the official website *and* to the Flickr group, some actual progress reports. Some of us are unfortunately feeling like we've been taken advantage of, as it's now 3 and a half months past the deadline. Pregnancy not withstanding, it would show us that our work is being respected *and* assembled.
